Gourmet Burger Kitchen specified Concreate floors in seven of their town centre restaurants.

They aspire for contemporary design combining industrial features and luxury detailing. The design team were were hitting challenges in venues where either sub-floor or budget constraints were making poured concrete floors prohibitive.

Concreate became their concrete floor product of choice to overcome these barriers without compromising on style.

Poggenpohl's kitchen design studio in London's Waterloo features Concreate natural grey throughout.

The use of Concreate's Natural Grey floor panels creates subtle warmth whilst maintaining the studio's natural light.

Poggenpohl's Waterloo Studio is Floored by Concreate From homeowners to architects, retailers to design-led brands, the popularity of Concreate's new, innovative and stylish concrete floor and wall solutions continues to soar, and our on-going partnership with leading kitchen company Poggenpohl is testament to this.

Poggenpohl is a long established kitchen company with a reputation for meticulously engineered contemporary kitchens. Materials of the highest quality, skilful craftsmanship and trend-setting design are used in every Poggenpohl kitchen world-wide.

With a commitment to innovation and design excellence, when Simon Richmond, UK Managing Director was introduced to the revolutionary Concreate product he instinctively knew it was the perfect contemporary architectural floor to complement the refurbishment of Poggenpohl's impressive London showroom in Waterloo.

Dramatically located in atmospheric brick railway arches at Waterloo, Poggenpohl's newly refurbished industrial and urban feel showroom has been set off perfectly by the industrial, urban and natural finish of Concreate panels.

Poppenpohl's approach is to create not just a showroom, but a design studio where their creativity, quality and vision for a kitchen to be the heart of a home can come alive.

The Waterloo showroom features nine new displays that illustrate the flexibility of the brand, and sitting under the railway arches the kitchens are attractively displayed against the Victorian brick walls and arched ceiling.

The restrictions of setting up a showroom in an unusual location have been overcome with a fully glazed entrance to maximise natural light and exposed services to give an industrial edge.

The use of Concreate's Natural Grey floor panels creates subtle warmth whilst maintaining the natural light. The floors subtle clean lines work perfectly with each individually styled kitchen, testament to Concreate's versatility to work alongside any material to create compelling architectural styling.

Simon Richmond explained why Concreate flooring was chosen for the showroom,“Our Waterloo showroom creates an interesting juxtaposition of sleek modern kitchens against Victorian industrial architecture, Concreate flooring fits this theme perfectly. Concreate is practical, it is also stylish, the ideal partner for the Poggenpohl brand.”

Poggenpohl's and Concreate's trusted partnership has also seen Concreate supply Norman Glenn Poggenpohl’s studio in Hampstead, North London, with Natural Grey Concreate flooring and Dark Grey Concreate wall panels (click here to find out more), supply floors for them at The Ideal Home Show, Grand Designs Live, KBB show, and 100% Design Show.

Any Poggenpohl customer can now take inspiration from these Concreate installations and be inspired to create their own Concreate design adding architectural flair to match their stylish new kitchen.
