Unique classic cars deserve to be showcased against a special backdrop, and Redline Classic Car specialists in Surrey have opened the doors on their new showroom, which features the classic urban finish of Concreate wall panels in the design.
Established since 2001, Redline are specialists in all aspects of AC Cobra and Classic Car sales, restoration and ownership. The new showroom is an expansion to their offering, as more buyers and sellers head their way to sell or find their dream classic car.
Redline owner Neil Fisher explained more about the new showroom and its design.
“We've been the UK specialists when it comes to original AC Cobra's for many years, and that expertise has led us to expand into all marques of prestige classic cars in recent years, and with an increasing stock of cars for sale I felt it was the right time to expand our workshop and add a car showroom to the premises.
“The unit adjacent to our workshop was free so we snapped it up and set about transforming it into a modern showroom. We've designed the showroom to be a clean, contemporary space where the cars do the talking, alongside the photo galleries of AC Cobra's and other classic that have passed through our doors since we opened back in 2001.”
The showroom specification was important as Neil wanted the cars to be the hero, but also wanted the environment to be warm and modern. Once the walls were completed in a clean white paint finish he felt they needed an additional surface finish to add a bit more depth to the design.
“I wanted to find a material and colour that wouldn't compete with the cars. A friend of mine has Concreate floors and mentioned that they do the same concrete finish in wall panels. I took a look at their website and loved the look of the panels so ordered a batch of free samples.”
Happy with the samples received, Neil has completed the design with walls clad half height in the lightweight Concreate wall panels. Quick to install with a simple adhesive application, the finished result in an additional layer of warmth and texture that sits effortlessly with the stunning cars on display.
